Pump Equipment for Valve Lubricants
RS Clare, in conjunction with partners, has developed a streamlined range of high pressure pump equipment suited to handling our heavy duty valve lubricants and sealants.
Pump equipment for valve lubricants
Often, after such products are selected, what can impede or stop the job is not having a pump system with sufficient capability to inject these products into the valve.
We have also developed bespoke stroke counters for their pneumatic pump systems, which allow the Operator to accurately monitor and record how much grease is being injected into the valve. Too little grease, and the valve will not be properly lubricated and protected; too much grease and the excess will exude down the flow line or down the tubing, both of which are undesirable situations.

The achievable pumping flow rate is critical when filling gate valves, often with large cavity volumes where time taken at the wellhead for maintenance is expensive. -
It is imperative that the pump can always deliver injection pressure, at the hose end, which is above Shut In Tubing Head Pressure (SITHP). -
Care must also be taken on configuration of the delivery hose and fittings, to ensure minimal flow restriction, and the ability to safely vent any trapped line pressure.
